Jakarta, 8 June 2021, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk signed cooperation with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in the framework of the Power Purchase Agreement, which is part of the Progressive Captive Power Acquisition program initiated by PLN. This signing marks the collaboration between PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk and PLN in utilizing the surplus electricity by PLN for the company's needs.
This collaboration is a manifestation of the real synergy between the state electricity company and the national pulp and paper industry in accelerating economic growth and the resilience of the domestic industry after the pandemic. Not only for Tjiwi Kimia, this program is also expected to be replicated in other business units under the auspices of Asia Pulp & Paper Sinar Mas.
