Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) Sinar Mas' business unit, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk, won the Primaniyarta award for the 7th time since 2006. This year, Tjiwi Kimia won the Primaniyarta award for the Sustainable Exporter category.
Primaniyarta Award is the highest award given by the government to exporters who are considered outstanding. The award, held since 1992, is expected to serve as a driving force for business actors to improve their achievements in the export sector continuously. The award was given at the 36th Trade Expo Indonesia opening in 2021, which was given directly by the Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi to President Director Tjiwi Kimia Suhendra Wiriadinata at the Pullman Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday (21/10/2021).
“We welcome this award. It is a tangible manifestation of the company in producing quality and sustainable products so that the international market can accept them. We believe that paper holds many answers to our future problems. For more than 40 years, we have continued to innovate to offer quality and sustainable paper and packaging products to meet the changing needs of the world," said Pak Suhendra in his written remarks.
